I heard an alarming study that only 27% of women know what time in a period they can get pregnant, here's a hint: it's ovulation and it's from days 13-16ish. I however didn't know this until I was in my late 20's. I didn't know much about my period other than...you bleed. 27%? That's wild, no? We are women walking around with vaginas between our legs and a uterus and don't know how we work? Thank you school for that trigonometry class..tsk tsk.


As women, it's a shame that "sex-ed" classes leave us feeling shameful, embarrassed, or worse more confused; because of this we don't talk about it, don't think about it, and don't know much about it EVEN THOUGH IT HAPPENS EVERY MONTH.


Because we don't talk about it, we don't know what is normal and what is not. Is bleeding that much normal? How about those cramps that…
